As a result of Feeder Separation Project (FSP), it is expected that there would be no power cuts in rural households in the next couple of years in Madhya
Pradesh. It is projected that, all the feeders in residential habitations in rural areas would start getting 24-hour power
supply . Besides, eight-hour power supply to agricultural pump sets would be ensured too.
WELCOME TO FEEDER SEPERATION PROJECT
The objective of this project is To provide commercially viable continuous supply of electricity for house-hold use in rural area of the state while restricting supply for agricultural use to facilitate only sustainable exploitation of ground water.
         Thereby, to accelerate socio economic development of rural area and pursue the larger objective of sustainable inclusive growth.

Highlights of FSP
A total amount of Rs 1,778 Crore will be spent on the feeder separation project funded by Rural Electrification Corporation and Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project includes separation of 1645 no 11kV rural feeder of 17 districts benefiting 15860 villages.

Targets for the Month
During the month,  new feeders were to be surveyed &  new BOQ's were to be finalized. Execution work is being carried out in divisions.
